Chase Stadium: Integrated Venue Control and Live Production System by Goal Sport Tech

Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, home of Inter Miami CF — part of Major League Soccer (MLS)— is equipped with a comprehensive control system designed to support match-day operations and media production.

The venue includes two large LED screens located at each end of the grandstand, along with perimeter LED screens covering all sides of the field. The installed GS Playout software by Goal Sport Technology enables centralized video distribution to these LED screens as well as to more than 120 displays in internal areas throughout the stadium.

The GS Timekeeper is also connected to the system, allowing it to control the game clock and input scoring events—such as goals, penalties, and substitutions—into the digital scoreboard. With the built-in GS Players Database, Inter Miami’s video production team has an automated solution for generating player introductions and other statistical presentations. The automation of game events significantly reduces the time required to prepare content before a match and during live operations.

The system also incorporates live production software, including a live switcher and slow-motion features, enabling the instant creation of game highlights from multiple camera angles during the match.

For screen management, the GS Graphical Editor offers support for various resolutions and aspect ratios, including layouts with unlimited screen resolution within the system’s total output capacity. This tool ensures consistent content replication across display areas, eliminating gaps and distortion.

To manage the extensive display network, the GS IPTV/Digital Signage Solution controls over 120 TVs across three buildings within the stadium, ensuring consistent content delivery across the complex.

Additionally, the GS LED Perimeter Screen Control software facilitates precise control and easy content preparation. It allows for seamless replication of video content across perimeter screens and features real-time image transformation, ensuring alignment with TV camera angles. This capability not only maintains visual consistency for broadcast but also saves significant time by eliminating the need for pre-rendering work in the editing process.
